Honeymoon and אלד
Both tattoos were done on the same day. Honeymoon is a tribute to her first world tour. אלד is one of the 72 names of God and it has the meaning of “protecting against evil, bad dreams and assisting in the process of rebirth”.

H2GKMO
It’s an abbreviation for “honest to God, knock me out”, an internal joke of the family. Liam, Ethan, Naya and Alexa did this first, followed by Devyn, Autumn, Graham, Maxwell and their mother Moon, after she divorced.
Crescent Moon
This tattoo has several meanings. Symbol of fertility and the feminine, it’s also related to the goddesses Artemis, Demeter, Persephone and Hecate. She revealed that is also a tribute to another goddess in her life, her mother, whose name is Moon Kwon. It’s the symbol of her Dangerous Woman character, Moonlight Bae.

Lumos
Known to be a spell in the Harry Potter saga, which Naya has admitted to being a fan of. It’s an enchantment that makes light appear in the darkness.

During her first live with her boyfriend that took place in early 2020 in Los Angeles, Naya revealed that she paid two tributes to her partner. One is on her thigh, number 17 in Roman numerals. In addition to sharing her birthday (November 17) with her twin sister, she also shares it with Yugyeom. It’s also the name of the first project that they launched in partnership with the other on Soundcloud. It was made in December 2019.

R.E.M, Black Heart and Lightning
R.E.M is a state of deep sleep, where the eyes and muscles make small rapid movements, usually happening dreams during this period, she also has a song on her album Sweetener with that name. Lightning is another reference to the Harry Potter saga.

“Chihiro’s growth in a capable individual is a gigantic plot. During her adventure, she matures to a hardworking, responsible and courageous young woman, who knows how to leave her fears behind. I wish I could get out of my bed every day like this”, Kwon said about new tattoo.

Olive Branch
It’s a tribute to her adopted sister Olivia, who managed to change her name legally. Olivia Kwon was born as a boy in 2010 and made her social transition at the age of eight. An olive branch also symbolizes new beginnings.

Her first tattoo references her first mini album released in 2014, Yours Truly. “문신 하트 (Tattooed Heart)” was the first song she recorded, marking the beginning of her career.
Belissima
“Belissima” is the Italian nickname she received from her grandfather, Giuseppe Valentini. She got the tattoo before he passed away.

The letter A was made to be a pair with her twin sister. While Naya has the letter A for Alexa, Alexa has the letter N for Naya.
Baby Doll
Just like she paid tribute to her grandfather in 2016, Naya tattooed the nickname that her nonna Rosa D’Angelo gave her years ago.

At the same live in 2020, Naya revealed to have done in her rib cage the answer to Yugyeom’s tattoo “trust me”, something he wants his family, friends and fans to do. “I had to answer, especially after what he did for me last year. And it’s his own handwriting”, the singer commented.
