Naya Kwon’s twin sister, Alexa Marie Valentini Kwon, or just Alexa Valentini, as she is better known, made a name for herself by starting her own clothing and accessories label that bears the Italian name of the family – VALENTINI.

Daughter of Moon Kwon, founder and CEO of Moon Cosmetics, it isn’t something new that the woman is following the same branch of businesswoman. Among her six brothers (four biological and two adoptive) are Liam Matteo, the Running Back for the New England Patriots and Ethan Kwon, YouTuber and cosmetics creator, in addition to her twin sister. Alexa is the youngest of the twins.

In 2019, she moved to Seoul to accompany Naya during her recovery after the Manchester attack, where she also started a new era for her brand.

PERSONAL DATA

CHILDHOOD

Alexa and Naya have always been close since birth, but the family comments that both have very different personalities. Especially when they were teenagers, the older one was more sociable while Lexi took more time to get used to new appearances in her circle of friends.

She was also an OCSA student, studying theater like her sister, but with a totally different focus. While Naya participated in the Conservatory of Musical Theater, Alexa found herself studying Production and Design, where she fell in love with fashion and the art of stage costumes.

When her twin sister and best friend went to the other side of the world, she confessed that she felt alone and meaningless, as Naya had decided her career and was on her way to get what she wanted. Lexi became even more shy about it, but with the help and encouragement of her brother Ethan, she finally decided to go to fashion college, attending the prestigious University of Southern California and getting an exchange in Paris, France.

RELATIONSHIPS

The stylist started dating Jacob Hayes in 2017, but the two broke up in 2019, when Alexa decided to live in Seoul to assist her sister Naya during the recovery from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He didn’t support the decision of a distant relationship and Lexi put the family first.

In 2020, she began to get involved with Youngjae, a member of the male group GOT7 in secret.

VALENTINI

Alexa Valentini made her entry into the fashion industry on July 14, 2017, with her first “LEATHERS” collection. The brand name is a tribute to her late grandfather, Giuseppe Valentini. Speaking of family business, her brothers Ethan and Naya Kwon are ambassadors for VALENTINI and she even made special collections in partnership with both. With Ethan, she owns the “ALIEN” collection and with her twin sister, “DANGEROUS WOMAN”, which was launched in 2020.

She made a deal with Naya as soon as her sister opened her own agency, SIRIUS Entertainment. Alexa is the sister’s stylist, both for media appearances and for her videos and photo shoots, in addition to being responsible for her costumes for awards, festivals and tours. The two worked for the first time together during The Dangerous Woman World Tour, where Lexi was responsible for the singer’s costumes.
