Moon Kwon and Alexander Valentini’s second son, Ethan Kwon was born in Beaufort, South Carolina on November 15, 1994. His mostly known siblings are Liam Matteo, ᑎᗩYᗩ and Alexa Valentini.

He’s openly homosexual and identifies himself as an androgynous since he was fifteen, when he started doing makeup, dyeing his hair in neon colors and dressing in more “feminine” clothes. Also, she doesn’t care about pronouns.

In 2014, he/she joined his/her mother’s company, Moon Cosmetics, starting the brand’s most lucrative makeup line. He/she moved to New York in 2020 after her mother appointed her as CEO of the official stores there.

CHILDHOOD

Ethan Kwon and his older brother Liam were always responsible for the house and brothers when their parents were working and their grandparents were just two against the five children, so they used to help a lot.

ET always had a complicated relationship with her father, who was quite skeptical about the whole thing of being famous in the media, besides he was the last to accept her sexual choice and gender identity. Both have very divergent thoughts and values of life, and unlike the other brothers who tend to ignore the patriarch’s comments, Ethan and his strong genius clash head-on with Alex.

In his videos, he always comments that he hated studying and his favorite subject was always makeup and fashion. She used to be popular for being her real self, but not necessarily the good meaning of popular, as she was also heavily attacked for her personality and gender.

INFLUENCER’S LIFE

His career in social networks began with MySpace, a space he used as a blog about his life, commenting on his own image, confidence and beauty, making reviews of his mother’s cosmetics. Ethan built a fan base, getting a large number of followers since day one.

She opened her YouTube channel in 2016, showing videos of her products and makeup that she did on her sisters and grandmother, and her even did a tour of the Moon Cosmetics factory with her mother. Currently, her channel has 17 million subscribers.

RELATIONSHIPS

Ethan met her boyfriend Nathan Briinski after receiving his direct message (DM). The two started dating in March 2015, after Briinski and Kwon first met in person. Their first date was at the Santa Monica Pier.

In early 2020, Ethan revealed that the relationship was over and that she was shaken by it. The couple already lived together and had just bought a new house, in addition to being the parents of six dogs, who they treated like their children.

PARTNERSHIPS

Known for not accepting any partnership, he has a strong alliance with the family business. CEO of the official New York stores of Moon Cosmetics, he launched with his sister Alexa Valentini, CEO and stylist of the brand VALENTINI, a clothing line. In 2020, he became Naya Kwon‘s makeup artist, working on her videos and tours when possible.

RELEASES

Ethan Kwon and her makeup line contribute to Moon Cosmetics with liquid lipsticks, bases, powders, highlighters, eyeshadow palettes, other lip products and even mirrors. It also designs collections and “mystery boxes” in three different sizes with assorted products. Like all company products, its ingredients are vegan and animal testing is not carried out.
